Class Description

When & Where: This class runs Sundays from 9:30-10:30am at Norberry-Glenlee Community Centre in St. Vital. This indoor spring session has 6 classes starting on May 5th and ending on June 23rd. Please note: there is no class on May 19th as it is the Victoria Day long weekend AND June 16th due to instructor availability. Norberry-Glenlee CC is located at 26 Molgat Ave, in St. Vital, Winnipeg. What: Prenatal yoga will encourage a more comfortable and relaxed pregnancy - preparing the body and mind for labour, delivery, and postpartum adjustments. These yoga classes will include: flexibility, strength, breath-work and relaxation. They also provide the opportunity to connect with other pregnant moms in the community! Who: This class is open to all fitness levels and all stages of pregnancy. No prior yoga experience is necessary. This session at Norberry-Glenlee CC will be taught by Peg Family Fitness instructor Bethany. Bethany is trained and certified through the Canadian Yoga Alliance. She is also a local St. Vital mom! What to bring: Participants are asked to bring their own equipment. Please bring a yoga mat, a yoga block (if you have one) and a water bottle. Yoga blocks will be available to borrow for those that don't have their own. Also make sure you are wearing comfortable and flexible clothes. Payment: This 6 week session costs $94.50 (including tax). Drop-in classes are $19. Email to schedule drop-in classes. Are you a student? Unwaged? Low-income?
