Covid-19 Updates

Updated February 2022:

As of March 1, 2022 Peg Family Fitness will not be requiring proof of vaccination for participation in classes. This change corresponds with the Province of Manitoba's relaxing of Covid-19 restrictions. Peg Family Fitness will, however, still ask that participants wear masks while entering and exiting a building. We will also continue to have small class sizes and encourage social distancing during class. 

Updated September 2021:

As per government mandates, we will be requiring all participants aged 12 and older to be fully vaccinated in order to participate in our indoor classes. We are continuing to practice social distancing during all classes and class sizes are limited. Masks must be worn when entering and exiting a building but can be taken off while actively engaged in a workout. 

Updated July 2021:

The Manitoba Government has loosened restrictions! Peg Family Fitness will have outdoor summer classes. Class sizes will remain small and physical distancing will be enforced at all classes. 

Updated May 2021:

The Manitoba Government has once again implemented stricter restrictions. All Peg Family Fitness Classes have been moved back to Zoom for the foreseeable future. Stay home

Updated March 2021:

The Manitoba Government has announced that group fitness classes may resume! Peg Family Fitness will resume in-person classes during the first week of April. Covid-19 safety precautions will be in place and will be strictly enforced. They include:

  • masks to be worn at all times

  • social distancing at all times

  • hand sanitizer available

  • limited class sizes

  • no shared equipment- participants are asked to bring their own 

  • records kept of everyone in attendance

Updated January 2021:

All classes continue to be held virtually on Zoom. Peg Family Fitness

has received a Safe At Home Manitoba Grant! This means that all Peg

Family Fitness virtual programming is free until the end of March. 

Updated November 2020:

The Manitoba government announced code red restrictions in Winnipeg starting November 2nd. Community Centers are closed. All in-person classes are moved to Zoom for the foreseeable future. 

Updated September 2020:

Peg Family Fitness will be closely following all recommendations put forth by the provincial government.

Social distancing will be enforced in classes and class sizes will be capped to limit contact. Hand sanitizer will be available. Participants will be asked to bring their own equipment.
