Class Description

When & Where: This class runs Mondays at 1:30pm at Kildonan Park, 2015 Main St. This summer session has 7 classes starting on July 11th and ending on August 29th. Please note: there is no class on August 1st as it is a long weekend! What: Do you want to have fun while working out with your baby and/or young child(ren)? Come workout with us at beautiful Kildonan Park! This class is prenatal-friendly! Each Giggle & Sweat class includes cardio drills, strength training, flexibility, and pre/postnatal-specific core exercises (including pelvic floor work). This session at Kildonan Park will be taught by Peg Family Fitness instructor Becky. Instructors are certified group fitness instructors through the Manitoba Fitness Council. Who: Everyone is welcome! All fitness levels are welcome! This class is perfect for women easing back into fitness after baby and for pregnant moms. Women should be at least 4 weeks postpartum (or 6 weeks for c-sections). Dads and other caregivers are welcome to attend this class but should also look into our Family or Evening Bootcamp classes which have less of a postpartum focus. What to bring: Participants are asked to bring their own equipment. Please bring a yoga mat, a set of dumbbells, and a water bottle. Also make sure you are wearing athletic footwear and comfortable workout clothes. Extra sets of dumbbells will be available to borrow if needed. Payment: This 7 week session costs $95.55 (including tax).
